AT THIS TIME DUE TO SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES ALL HARNESSES USING 500K POTENTIOMETERS WILL BE BUITL WITH CUSTOM CTS 525K 5% TOLERANCE POTENTIOMETERS.

AT THIS TIME ONLY MODERN TONE CAPACITORS WILL BE USED

All pots are measured and hand selected where they will go in the circuit based off of their value. I keep a very tight tolerance of 5%plus only of 500k. So I will never use anything below 500k and only 5% above 500k unless otherwise discussed with customer.

1xSwitchcraft Long shafted 3 way toggle switch with screw on tip.

1xSwitchcraft Ouput Jack

Harness will be 50’s wired or as talked over with the customer.

Everything that can be soldered before final install will be completed. The 3 way switch on the Les Paul harnesses will be soldered with extra long wire leads that will be cut to length during final install and soldered to pot terminals and output jack shown on wiring diagram that will be provided. Ouput jack will also need to be soldered at time of final install as well due to the routing on a Les Paul.

This harness is designed for American Made Gibson Guitars. This will fit usually any Les Paul Style Guitar including Epiphones. The only modification that may need to be made would be to enlarge the potentiometer holes within the body of the guitar. VIP Pots have a 3/8” shaft so a 3/8” hole is needed for them to fit through the body. Most non USA Guitars use a metric measurement shaft that is slightly smaller than 3/8”. Enlarging the holes is fairly easy and I will and can provide guidance on how to to do this properly during your install.
