Full complete Vintage Gibson Sg Wiring Harness.

4xWD Music Custom CTS Audio Taper 550k Potentiometers. Pots will range anywhere from 525k up to 550k. I will always use two of the highest value pots out of the four in the neck pickup circuit and two of the lower value pots out of the four but never below 500k in the bridge pickup circuit.

All pots are measured first for their exact values.

1xCentralab Angled 3 way toggle switch. I do not supply switch tips. For Epiphones I will use the Centralab Short Shafted Straight 3 Way Toggle Switch due to how some of the cavities are routed on those guitars.

1xSwitchcraft Ouput Jack

Harness will be 50’s wired or as talked over with the customer.

Everything that can be soldered before final install will be completed. On Sg models the full harness will be completely soldered including the 3 way switch and output jack.
Wiring diagram will be provided.

This harness is designed for American Made Gibson Guitars. This will fit usually any SG Style Guitar including Epiphones. The only modification that may need to be made would be to enlarge the potentiometer holes within the body of the guitar. VIP Pots have a 3/8” shaft so a 3/8” hole is needed for them to fit through the body. Most non USA Guitars use a metric measurement shaft that is slightly smaller than 3/8”. Enlarging the holes is fairly easy and I will and can provide guidance on how to to do this properly during your install.
